Finally!An Update

Okay I know,it's been way to long, but every time I think about doing this,I get distracted by something else.Such as life.

It's the Sunday after thanksgiving and it's been the most lazy weekend. I was supposed to go to Wall-Mart Saturday morning but my drivers sister passed away,so I didn't get to go.He offered to take me anyway, but couldn't let him. Will really is a good man.So I spent my 4 days off crocheting and knitting, watching movies and cooking.I made potato soup, homemade apple sauce and pumpkin fluff.I've become addicted to pumpkin.I never thought I liked pumpkin before.Imagine that.I post the recipes at the end of this blog.

Thursday,Craig and his crew and I went to Georgia to have thanksgiving with Erica's mom and her family. It was a good day.I ate more than I have eaten in a long time.I had one serving of everything + pumpkin pie and a chocolate chip cookie.YUMMY :P Had no guilt what so ever.Well maby just a wee bit.I was good for dinner later on that evening.Had a pina colada protein shake(I make really good shakes!).I was sad to find out that Pappa San's lady friend Sara had pass away.I didn't know till after we had gotten there. On the way home we had a deep and heavy discussion on our Lord and faith.I think that was a good way to end the day.

As for my weight loss journey....Here are the numbers-

Start weight-312.4

Last update-193.4

Today's weight-183.8

Loss since last update-9.6lbs

Total loss(drum roll please)-128.6

WooooHoooo!!!!!

I last weighed in at weight watchers a week from last Thursday and I had lost 2lbs in 3 weeks time.So it has definitely started slowing down.Which is okay because I'm getting closer to my goal of 175.About 9 more lbs to go.I'm in no hurry to get there.

Recipes

Potato soup

1 regular size container of chicken broth

1 small bag of frozen hash brown potato's

1 packet of sausage gravy mix

1 small bag of frozen carrots(recipe call's for cabbage but I prefer carrots)

diced chicken(doesn't call for chicken I just decided ti add it)

Bring all ingredients to a boil then let simmer for 20 or 30 minutes

Apple Sauce

I used a bunch of mixed apples pealed and diced. I Put them in a pan with an inch or so of water and boiled them down.I like to leave mine a little chunky.I used a little Splenda to sweeten and allspice to taste. So so good!

Pumpkin Fluff

1 can of pure pumpkin

1 box of sugar free fat free vanilla pudding

1 small container of cool whip

Mix dry pudding mix into the pumpkin and then fold in cool whip.I used a little Splenda to make it sweeter and vanilla extract and allspice to taste. This is the most yummy thing ever.I sometimes eat it in a cup like pudding and it's also good as a dip with apples.I think Erica used it in individual pie crust.Oh and I've used in my protein shakes teehee.Imagine the possibility's.

Peace, love, happiness and faith to all and GOD BLESS!
